What customer data do you collect?
We collect customer contact details necessary to facilitate the completion of a service booking or the registration of a virtual class. This information includes customer names, email, home address, phone numbers, and credit card information. We also collect customer personal information through service intake forms. Although customer device info and locations may be collected when users choose to scan our QR codes, it is not possible to personally identify any individual customer from this information.
How do you collect customer personal data?
Customer data is collected through our hosting/booking platform, Squarespace and Acuity Scheduling. Customer data is also collected through our Square POS system. Acuity Scheduling is part of the Squarespace suite of products, and is therefore subject to Squarespace’s privacy policy and practices. You can also learn more about Square’s privacy policy and the type of data they collect on the Square site.
How do you use this data?
We use this information to communicate with customers to confirm, reschedule, or cancel service appointments. We also provide updates and reminders to customers using SMS text and email.
Information that is collected through service intake forms are used to evaluate and personalize service treatments.
Credit card information is used to hold reservations and for the payment of services rendered or merchandise purchased.
How do you protect customer data?
Sanare does not sell customer data to third-parties unaffiliated with our business.
Acuity Scheduling ensures a secure booking experience for clients and businesses. They protect client data through features like HIPAA compliance, data privacy policies, and security measures such as single sign-on. Acuity Scheduling also securely integrates with payment processors like Stripe, Square, and PayPal. Although customer credit card information is collected through the Acuity Scheduling platform and the Square Point Of Sale (POS) system for payment transactions, the card details are securely stored with the payment processors, and not with Acuity Scheduling or Square POS.
